Ontario is expanding eligibility for the Protect Ontario Financing Program and the Ontario Together Trade Fund to help businesses and workers respond to new U.S. tariffs and trade restrictions.
The $1 billion Protect Ontario Financing Program provides businesses with access to loans to help cover operating costs and protect jobs, while the $150 million Ontario Together Trade Fund supports investments that strengthen supply chains, improve competitiveness, and open new markets.
These measures build on Ontario’s nearly $30 billion tariff support plan, ensuring businesses have the tools they need to navigate economic uncertainty, protect workers, and keep communities strong.
