Ontario Completes Major Upgrades at Bloor GO/UP Station

Under Premier Ford’s leadership, Ontario is making historic investments in public transit to keep people moving and support growing communities. The completion of major upgrades at Bloor GO/UP Station, including 2.5 kilometres of new rail infrastructure between Dupont Street and Lansdowne Avenue, is an important step toward expanding service and increasing future capacity on the Kitchener Line.

As part of our government’s $70 billion transit expansion plan, including more than $15 billion for GO Transit improvements, these upgrades will help deliver faster, more reliable service for commuters across the Greater Toronto Area. By improving connections and reducing congestion, we are making it easier for people to get to work, access housing, and spend more time with their families.
