Our plan to protect Ontario jobs is delivering results, with more than one million new jobs created across the province since 2018. According to Statistics Canada, Ontario led the country in job creation in July, adding 52,000 new jobs and continuing to demonstrate the strength of the province’s economy.
Despite ongoing global economic uncertainty, Ontario continues to attract record investment and support business growth. Since 2018, more than $235 billion has been invested across key sectors such as advanced manufacturing, technology, and life sciences, helping create good-paying jobs and opportunities for workers across the province.
By lowering taxes, cutting red tape, and creating the conditions for long-term investment, our government is building a more competitive, resilient, and self-reliant economy that will continue to protect Ontario workers and families for years to come.
