Ontario continues to expand its global trade partnerships and attract investment as it works to build a stronger, more resilient economy. Since 2018, Ontario’s non-U.S. exports have grown by nearly 75 per cent, supported by expanded market access and growing trade relationships with partners around the world, including ASEAN countries, Poland, South Korea, and India.
Through targeted trade and investment missions, Ontario is helping local businesses reach new markets while attracting job-creating investments to the province. In 2025 alone, Ontario led more than 60 trade missions and attracted $35 billion in foreign direct investment, helping create 64,000 new jobs.
By diversifying trade, reducing barriers to investment, and strengthening economic partnerships, Ontario is helping protect workers and businesses while building a more competitive, resilient, and self-reliant economy for the future.
